    Industrial applications benefit from novel cloud and edge computing solutions. A reliable and predictable network communication solution is one of the key pillars in the case of such applications. Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) is a promising solution that can meet this criteria. In this paper, we propose a software architecture that enables real-time communication for applications running on a cloud or edge system communicating with TSN endpoints via a connected TSN domain. Our proposed architecture guarantees the timing accuracy required in the TSN network domain, regardless of the timing uncertainties of the cloud domain. © 2024 IEEE.
