Sample materials were washed and sieved using the sieve system of Daams & Freudenthal (1988). The study of these new faunas resulted in numerous taxonomic, paleobiogeographic and biochronologic conclusions (Hír 2020, Hír et al. 2016, 2017 and references therein), as well as lithostratigraphic and geochronologic results.
