2023. augusztusában földrengések pattantak ki Szarvastól K-re. Földrengések Magyarországon
is elő szoktak fordulni,
de nem ilyen mennyiségben (száznál több rengés volt) és nem ilyen erősséggel (hat
3,5 magnitúdó feletti rengést regisztráltak).
Érdemes volt megvizsgálni a rengéseket, a terület földtani környezetét és a rendelkezésre
álló, mélyebb
szintek felépítését mutató geofi zikai adatokat is. Erről szól a következő tanulmány.
/ In August 2023, earthquakes erupted east of Szarvas. Earthquakes also used to occur
in Hungary, but not in such a quantity (there were more than 100) and not with such
strength (6 earthquakes over magnitude 3,5 were registered). It was also worth examining
the earthquakes, the geological environment of the area and the available geophysical
data showing the structure of deeper levels. This is what the next study is about.
