Ennek pontosítása és mennyiségi leírása kulcsfontosságú a szeizmotektonikai veszélyeztetettség és a geodinamikai értelmezés tekintetében. Ez a tanulmány összefoglalja a legújabb (kéreg) feszültség és GNSS-alapú alakváltozási sebesség eredményeit, valamint ezek vonatkozásait az aktív deformációs folyamatokra. A szövegben található ábrákon kívül az eredményeket két önálló digitális azonosítóval rendelkező térképmellékletben is bemutatjuk 1:1500.000 méretarányban. A feszültség és deformációs ráta eredményei azt mutatják, hogy a Pannon-térségben a transzpressziós feszültségmező és ehhez kapcsolódóan a rövidüléses és a transzpressziós deformáció határozzák meg az aktív tektonikát. A főfeszültség tengelyek iránya és aránya a terület nagy részén jó egyezést mutat a deformációs ráta főtengelyek irányával és arányával, ami arra utal, hogy a felsőkéreg feszültségek és a felszíndeformáció szoros kapcsolatban állnak. Az Adria-mikrolemez észak felé irányuló mozgása mellett a Keleti- és Déli-Kárpátok területének lassabb, de konzisztens délnyugati irányú mozgását a Pannon-térség feszültségmezőjének és deformációjának fontos peremfeltételeként azonosítjuk. Az eredmények általában jó egyezést mutatnak és nagyban kiegészítik, pontosítják az előző feszültség- és felszíndeformációs adatbázisokat, valamint bemenő paraméterként vagy referenciaként szolgálhatnak geodinamikai és szerkezeti modellekhez és elemzésekhez, szeizmotektonikai modellekhez, földrengés-veszélyeztetettségi becslésekhez és geo-energetikai projektekhez is. = The interpretation of active deformation processes in the Pannonian region remains a challenge. Its refinement and quantification is a key for seismic hazard assessment and for the geodynamic understanding of the region. This study summarizes recent (crustal) stress and GNSS-based strain rate results and their implications for active deformation processes. In addition to the in-text figures, the results are presented in two map supplements with individual digital identifiers at a scale of 1:1500. 000. The stress and strain rate results show that the active tectonics in the Pannonian Basin is determined by the transpressional stress field and associated shortening and transpressional deformation. The direction and ratio of principal stress axes show good agreement with those of the principal strain rate axes in most of the study area, suggesting that the upper crustal stress field and surface deformation are closely linked. Besides the northward motion of the Adria Microplate, we identify the slower but consistent SW-directed motion of the Eastern and Southern Carpathian areas as an important boundary condition for the stress field and deformation of the Pannonian region.
