Tanulmányukban a szerzők arra a kérdésre keresték a választ, hogy a környezetvédelemmel kapcsolatos gazdasági kockázatok kezelésére irányuló stratégiák milyen fejlettségi fokúak jelenleg a hazai nagyvállalatok körében, és mi várható középtávon. A kapott eredmények alapján egyértelműen megállapítható, hogy a vizsgált vállalati kör jelenleg is erőteljesen foglalkozik a környezetvédelemmel kapcsolatos kockázatokkal, és a vállalatvezetők megítélése szerint ezek 3-5 éves távon még hangsúlyosabban jelennek meg célrendszerükben. A legnagyobb különbség a fejlettség negyedik és ötödik szintjén látható.
