In this paper, a report is presented on our progress with the procedure for back-calculating electric motor efficiencies from driving cycles. The mechanical calculation for determining the efficiency has been completed for vehicles equipped with single drive. In order for the method to be used for twin drives as well, additional emerging problems must be solved, which will be described in the second half of this document.
