A területen feltárt elméleti szakirodalom, amely az értékek fogalmának fejlődéstörténetétől kiindulva az örökséginterpretáción, valamint a kultúra és az érzelmek kapcsolatához kötődő elméletalkotók munkásságán át kiterjed a nemzeti értékek rendszerszintű és kutatásokra alapozott bemutatásáig, jól tükrözi az interdiszciplináris téma komplexitását. Olyan területtel foglalkozunk, amely egyszerre összetett és bonyolult, ugyanakkor lokális és személyes. A tanulmány második felében a helyi értékek és a hungarikumok kapcsán elkészült félig-strukturált kvalitatív kutatás bemutatása következik, amelyet három település lakosainak (n=27) bevonásával készítettünk el. A kutatás eredményei alapján megállapíthatjuk, a hungarikum fogalmának szélesebb körű értelmezése még nem terjedt el a lakosság körében, a nemzeti értékek kapcsán megjelenő pozitív érzelmi viszonyulások ellenére sem. Kiemelt eredménynek tartjuk, hogy a lokális értékek kapcsán sajátos települési mintázatokat tártunk fel a különböző értéktípusok kapcsán, összekapcsolódva városi legendákkal és értékfejlesztési javaslatokkal, amelyeket egyéni beállítódások árnyalnak. | Our study is presenting the first results of a research project targeting the awareness of inhabitants to local values. Our goal is to explore views and emotions of residents linked to their heritage. The presentation of the literature is based on an interdisciplinary overview. The first part of the study presents theories related to the concept of value, and its development; the interpretation of heritage; the relation between cultural values and emotions of local residents; the propositions and impact of Unesco in this field on local development; and the system and structures of national value’s registers, especially in Hungary, called also „hungarikum”. This field of study is complex and sophisticated, and local and personal at the same time. In the second part of the study, we present the results of semi-structured interviews (n=27), registered amongst the inhabitants of 3 middle sized Hungarian cities (Vác, Göd and Fót). We can state based on the analysis of the research results, that the more recent definition of the concept of „hungarikum” is not yet spread in the correct manner between the population, however we can mostly register positives emotions of local inhabitants.
