Nocturnal animals are the victims of biodiversity loss, because of the light pollution. The more (nocturnal) animals children encounter in their studies, the more they can understand from the world around them, making them more effective in handling the drastic decline of species, that might be observed today. In many cases, the experienced biodiversity loss might even due to the fact that, young generation does not always have access to sufficient and up-to-date information from their textbooks, however, the greater species diversity knowledge a person has, the more natural sustainability is provided for all life forms, humans as well. Considering these facts within environmental education, the elements in school materials were examined. Nocturnal animal species occurance in the National experimental textbooks such as in the Hungarian10th class Biology books, e.g. Biology 10, published by Gábor Dr. Lénárd (2019) While acurrent study is based on experimenting the content of Biológia 9,, 11 or 12, written by The Hungarian Institute for Educational Research and Development: The Neumann Secondary School has joined to several Hungarian secondary school programmes, that are experimenting the effects of pollution, even light pollution, Biotic Index at Secondary Education Level, Eco-school - night animal activity, Studying nightlife in the Botanical Garden of EKE
