Mobility is a crucial part of our everyday lives as we continuously move and change.
The rapid digital development of the 21st century allows us to expand our
experiential cognition with ever smaller, cheaper, and more sensitive sensors, data
fusion, and artificial intelligence, with more and more data available to us. The
advancement of cognitive functionalities is the enablers to connect to analyze, understand
and optimize mobility. Human and artificial intelligence and a deeper combination
of these provide a new viewpoint of mobility. This paper aims to define the domain
of cognitive mobility.
