In this paper experimental findings illustrating influence of the color of the light
emitted by power LEDs on thermal and radiometry parameters of these diodes are presented.
The manner and the set-up making possible measurements of transient thermal impedance
and power density of radiation emitted by the examined diodes are described. Selected
results of measurements illustrating influence of the wavelength of emitted radiation
on transient thermal impedances of the considered devices and influence of forward
current of these diodes on efficiency of conversion of electrical energy into the
energy of optical radiation are shown and discussed.
