Forensic matters of the investigation into human trafficking committed within the
framework of a criminal organization - summary of a content research project
In my paper I intend to share the progress of the implementation and the results of
a content research project conducted from September 2017 to March 2018, as well as
the thought de lege lata et ferenda produced during the research. A professional summary
was already prepared of the research in March 2018, which contains all the events
and tasks I carried out at the receiving organization. The summary document indicated
that I was going to prepare a detailed research project summary in an attempt to summarize
the results of the file research. This has already happened verbally within the framework
of a talk gave at a law conference.
In my presentation, I strived to present the system of the reviewed files in an anonymized
form, the conclusions drawn from the research and the up-to-date statistical data.
During the research I asked the investigators to fill in a questionnaire, in which
they could assess the effective anti-human trafficking legislation in terms of practicality,
adaptability ad transparency.
The answers demonstrate that the police officers propose a certain change, which would
bring the Hungarian data in line with the European statistical data, and as a result
they would show a more exact value in terms of human trafficking. The adaptability
of the facts from a forensic point of view would be far more reasonable and it would
also facilitate qualification.
