The chapter deals with a device for determining the critical flicker fusion frequency
(CFFF). CFFF method is used in ophthalmology and physiology as an indicator of functional
liability of the retina and visual pathway. Based on the analysis of available solutions,
authors describe the creation of a new instrument. The main advantages of the device
are the following: small size of glasses and instruments, computer control of the
process, and availability to upload new firmware into the device by means of software.
