ITS means the Intelligent Transport System. Unfortunately, today the ITS systems operate in isolation. They do not comply the new legislation and they are protected not well against the potential technical threats. Further growth is expected in a number of new users and vehicles. The main challenge is meaning the appearance of the new driving methods, for example, autonomous driving. Great progress would be mean if all drivers (human or algorithm) would be responsible for their own activities including with the moving of their vehicle. The important approach would be clearly identified and stored all trajectories, but the all assets tracking must happen by the public-authentic way according to the EU directives, for example, GDPR, eIDAS and NIS mandatory requirements. The ITS Ecosystem will give us many positive externalities these can be expected to increase the transport safety. Keywords: ITS, tracking, transport safety, authenticity, controllability
