The expansion of the higher education and other
harmful factors cause that many of the students
entering the higher education do not have suitable
learning skills and motives. The differences in
development of competencies and in selfknowledge
of the students make the educator
assistance difficult in the acquisition of the
additional knowledge and learning skills. The
primary aim of our research was to prepare our
students' competence map. Based on this we can
give a global picture of the cognitive and affective
development of our freshmen for the staff.
Additionally, we can set the domains to be
developed for the students. In order to realize
these aims, we developed an on-line test and a
questionnaire.
