There are numerous instances where the heat transfer from a fin-
and-tube heat exchanger to air takes place primarily via natural
convection. The finned tubes had 24 mm inner diameter, 900 mm
length and the wall thickness was 1.4 mm. There was a measuring
method elaborated by the researchers to study Eu’-Re’ and Nu’-
Re’ functions of heat exchanger. In addition ∆P=f(ρ•uA) and α=
f(ρ•uA) functions were also plotted to make clearer
investigation of hy-drodynamic and heat transfer properties of
heat exchanger. Factors and exponents of empirical equations Eu’
and Nu’ were determined in a range of the Reynolds number.
