This paper describes three mobile multicast proposals from
the perspective of the OverDRiVE IST project.
OverDRiVE aims at enabling the delivery of spectrum
efficient multi- and unicast services to vehicles. The
examined approaches are the state-of-the-art of IPv6
mobile multicast, namely bi-directional tunnelling, remote
subscription and multicast agent. The paper also features a
comparison of these approaches, based on the requirements
defined by the project.
