The main goal of this paper is to examine the frictional contact and the hysteresis
between a steel ball and a rubber plate based on a measurement using Microtribometer.
FE model was created in order to evaluate hysteresis component of the coefficient
of the friction in term of the sliding speed. The FE results are in good agreement
with the experimental results.
