    A new melhod for the analysis of the steady state and small signal dynamlc behaviour of series resonant type converter used for X-ray generator has been developed. The generalor consists of a frequency controlled series resonant thyristor type converter and is loaded by a high voltage transformer and rectifler with capacitance filters. On the basis of the mathematical analysis a new, powerful, fast melhod is obtained to determine the steady state features of the converter circuit. In addition a small signal model, transformed to the constanl pulse time is also given, applied to the small signal stability investigations of the controlled resonant type power converter.
